HTC Vigor

htc vigor
Looks like HTC is ready to blow away the competition and release the world’s first SuperPhone sporting a HD screen. The HTC Vigor is set to release ‘soon’ and will be packing some serious hardware.

The HTC Vigor has been rumored to be a monster smartphone and very well could be the first HTC smartphone to showcase the company’s new partnership with Dr. Dre’s Beats. It’s also probably going to tempt some of you who are waiting for the Droid Bionic to wait a little longer to see what this phone is all about.

The HTC Vigor features a 4.3-inch HD display (probably Super

iPhone 5 Concept

You might have already seen this, but for those who haven’t, here is a very (very) futuristic look at the iPhone
5
might just be, or at least what animation studio Aatma Studio wishes would be released in the upcoming iPhone 5.

At first glance it’s perhaps somewhat remotely believable that Apple would make the iPhone 5 a whole lot thinner, but once they pull out the laser keyboard and holographic projections that remote possibility is a very distant memory…

iPhone 5 rumours are a pretty hot topic right now, and this video has pulled almost 6 million views in the few days since being uploaded. A great pr stunt from the guys at Aatma Studio. Nice job.

A cerebral hemisphere is one of the two regions of the eutherian brain that are delineated by the median plane, (medial longitudinal fissure).

The brain can thus be described as being divided into left and right cerebral hemispheres. Each of these hemispheres has an outer layer of grey matter called the cerebral cortex that is supported by an inner layer of white matter.

Wallet Phone from Kyocera

Kyocera, the multinational manufacturer with headquarters in Kyoto, Japan, unveiled its groundbreaking EOS folding concept phone that features a flexible OLED screen.

The device can easily fold up to look something like a wallet. Its industrial designer is Susan McKinney.

The futuristic phone is made of soft, semi-rigid polymer skin that covers a flexible OLED display. Incorporating a shape memory, makes it possible for keys to pop-up from the device's surface when it's unfolded and fade away when it's not used.

Kyocera's EOS phone has a compact shape when folded and you can make simple phone calls, but when unfolded, the phone unveils a pretty large screen. The device feeds off its energy from physical interaction.

Sandcastle Hotel - Cool Hotel

If your idea of a relaxing vacation is sand, sun, and surf, you won’t get anything closer to it than the world’s largest and only sand castle hotel made entirely of sand on Weymouth beach in Dorset, UK. But don’t expect any amenities here like showers or bathrooms – you’re going to have to make do without.

The hotel, design to look like a sandcastle, is the brainchild of sculptor Mark Anderson, and was created as a publicity stunt for Laterooms.com.

It took a team of 7 people eight long days — over 600 hours — to build the 50 foot (15 meter) square by 13 foot (4 meter) high sand hotel using 1,000 tons of sand and seawater.

Cool Gadgets – High Resolution Video Goggles

Everybody wants one: the biggest screen they can get, smack dab in front of their faces. Just imagine 62 virtual inches of bright and shiny TV glory floating 9 feet before your peepers. It’s a bit of television nirvana – that’s what it is. Head-mounted heaven.

Most video goggles only display 320 x 240 resolution video, which is fine for the most basic of video sources, but these bad boys pump out 4 times the number of pixels. That’s right – you heard me! Plug in your favorite video source, be it video game console, iPod – whatever, as long as it supports NTSC out, sit back, and bombard your rods and cones with photons in the 400 to 700 nanometer range (that’s the visible light spectrum, for those science-challenged).

The included battery pack lets your goggles go portable – wear them on the subway, or on the treadmill, or catch up on the last season of Battlestar in bed while your significant other snoozes blissfully unaware. Sure, you might get looks while wearing them in public, but you know what? They’re jealous – that’s right! They want what you’ve got, and are coveting. Let ‘em. They can get their own.

The high resolution video goggles are available to buy online for $349.99 from ThinkGeek.com

True Wild Life | Frilled Lizard | The frilled lizard is a large species of lizard natively found in the jungles of Australia and its surrounding islands. The frilled lizard is known by a number of names including the frill-necked lizard and the frilled dragon. The frilled lizard is an arboreal animal meaning that it spends the majority of its life in the trees. Frilled lizards can be found in humid climates such as tropical jungles and forests, across Australia and Papua New Guinea.

The frilled lizard is named after the large fold of skin that usually lies folded up against the frilled lizard's head and neck. When the frilled lizard feels threatened, the fold of skin fans out around the frilled lizard's head in order to make the frilled lizard appear larger and more intimidating than it is. The frilled lizard is fairly large species of lizard that can grow to nearly a meter in length. The long tail and sharp claws of the frilled lizard help the frilled lizard when it is climbing around in the trees.

Like many other species of lizard, the frilled lizard is an omnivorous animal and the frilled lizard will therefore eat almost anything it can find. Despite this though, the frilled lizard will eat meat whenever possible as it hunts a variety of insects, spiders, rodents and small reptiles. Due to its relatively large size, the frilled lizard has only a handful of
