Mobile phone business is one of the most rapid growing industries. Not so long ago, the popular check phone was Nokia 3310 with mere basic functions: call, text messaging and the only bearable game, snake.

However, significant improvement has been made since then. We now have so many variety of phones that surpasses the basic function, smart phones for example allows you to connect to social media conveniently, GPS, video conferencing etc.

HTC EVO 3D Review

Now that you can pick up touchscreen smartphones for pocket money prices, premium mobiles have to find other ways to differentiate themselves. 3D is the perfect solution, adding a gloss of techno-cool to imaging and gaming, and promising yet more to come (3D navigation anyone?).

The latest device intent on dragging us kicking and screaming into a new dimension is the HTC EVO 3D, a feature-packed Android phone available on the Sprint network in the US. With twin 5-megapixel cameras to capture 3D photos and videos, and a glasses-free 3D screen for playback, the EVO 3D promises nothing short of a multi-dimensional revolution.


It comes with a deafening array of bells and whistles, including the latest Android Gingerbread OS, a huge 4.3-inch screen, 1.2GHz dual core processor and 4G(ish) connectivity. Like its Korean rival LG, whose Optimus 3D handset is already available, HTC is clearly positioning 3D at the upper end of its range, a luxury feature that sets it apart from duller, flatter phones.

Looks like HTC is ready to blow away the competition and release the world’s first SuperPhone sporting a HD screen. The HTC Vigor is set to release ‘soon’ and will be packing some serious hardware.

The HTC Vigor has been rumored to be a monster smartphone and very well could be the first HTC smartphone to showcase the company’s new partnership with Dr. Dre’s Beats. It’s also probably going to tempt some of you who are waiting for the Droid Bionic to wait a little longer to see what this phone is all about.

You might have already seen this, but for those who haven’t, here is a very (very) futuristic look at the iPhone
5 might just be, or at least what animation studio Aatma Studio wishes would be released in the upcoming iPhone 5.

At first glance it’s perhaps somewhat remotely believable that Apple would make the iPhone 5 a whole lot thinner, but once they pull out the laser keyboard and holographic projections that remote possibility is a very distant memory…

iPhone 5 rumours are a pretty hot topic right now, and this video has pulled almost 6 million views in the few days since being uploaded. A great pr stunt from the guys at Aatma Studio. Nice job.

Wallet Phone from Kyocera

Kyocera, the multinational manufacturer with headquarters in Kyoto, Japan, unveiled its groundbreaking EOS folding concept phone that features a flexible OLED screen.

The device can easily fold up to look something like a wallet. Its industrial designer is Susan McKinney.

The futuristic phone is made of soft, semi-rigid polymer skin that covers a flexible OLED display. Incorporating a shape memory, makes it possible for keys to pop-up from the device's surface when it's unfolded and fade away when it's not used.

Kyocera's EOS phone has a compact shape when folded and you can make simple phone calls, but when unfolded, the phone unveils a pretty large screen. The device feeds off its energy from physical interaction.

Cool Gadgets – High Resolution Video Goggles

Everybody wants one: the biggest screen they can get, smack dab in front of their faces. Just imagine 62 virtual inches of bright and shiny TV glory floating 9 feet before your peepers. It’s a bit of television nirvana – that’s what it is. Head-mounted heaven.
