HTC Vigor

Looks like HTC is ready to blow away the competition and release the world’s first SuperPhone sporting a HD screen. The HTC Vigor is set to release ‘soon’ and will be packing some serious hardware.

The HTC Vigor has been rumored to be a monster smartphone and very well could be the first HTC smartphone to showcase the company’s new partnership with Dr. Dre’s Beats. It’s also probably going to tempt some of you who are waiting for the Droid Bionic to wait a little longer to see what this phone is all about.

The HTC Vigor features a 4.3-inch HD display (probably Super
LCD), an 8MP back camera which most probably records 1080p videos, a front camera and a 1.5 GHz dual core processor. The SuperPhone will be running Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with HTC’s Sense 3.5 UI on top (an upgrade from 3.0). The phone will also implement Dr. Dre’s Beats technology offering superior audio playback.

If this phone is indeed real then we can expect an official announcement soon.

HTC Vigor will not only have the highest frequency of the processor, but also the world's highest mobile phone screen resolution, and now I wander how much the battery will last?

As I was saying, it might just be the “first” Android phone to ever have a 720p resolution on its display; that is, if Samsung was only bragging about its Nexus Prime 4G / Hercules Phone slated for this year. Going back to HTC Vigor, it runs powerful specs like 1.5GHz Qualcomm CPU (we hope to be dual-core) with Adreno GPU alog witn Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread for its platform; which is another nice candidate for Android Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) expected to arrive by the end of this quarter. The 720p HD we’re talking about stands for 1280 x 720 resolution on its screen display – something that’s even more powerful than EVO 3D or Galaxy S2’s front runners.

As of the moment, its release date is still being concealed but predictions suggest it will be heading towards Verizon equipped with 4G LTE radios soon.
